A free photography programme will take place at Enniskillen Castle Museum from December 2 to 6 and the public are being encouraged to take part to create merge photography combining historic images of the town and region with modern day imagery.

The programme is being organised by the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) and the Nerve Centre, under the Women in the Archives strand of the Making the Future project, a cross-border cultural heritage programme funded through the PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

During the week-long programme participants will gain experience in using photography equipment, get a masterclass in photography techniques, visit PRONI for a behind the scenes tour and help produce the organisation’s first merged photographs from County Fermanagh.

Participants do not need to have previous photography experience in order to take part in this programme and it is open to anyone aged 16+.
