The annual Galloon Charity Swim took place on New Year’s Day with over 30 hardy souls testing out the waters around Newtownbutler.
As expected it was to be a cold dip in the water for even the toughest of participants with few swimmers spending much time in the water.
Overall around 20 adults and 15 children took part in the annual swim which, this year, was raising funds for Parkinson’s Support Group Fermanagh.
Organisers gave a big thanks to all those who took part in the swim and everybody who kindly gave sponsorship as well as to the members of Erne Search and Recovery who always come out to help with health and safety on the day.
