Readers of the Impartial Reporter have reported two-mile-long tailbacks on a road entering Enniskillen.
The queues are on the Sligo Road with resurfacing in Enniskillen understood to be a contributing factor, while it has also been reported that a three car accident occurred on Wellington Road which added to the traffic back log.
"Traffic coming into Enniskillen at a standstill out the Sligo road as far as the roundabout past the Village Inn," tweeted Enniskillen man, Ronan McGrade, who also took the picture with this story.
TrafficWatchNI, a website operated by the department of Infrastructure have a notice of a road closure at Queen Street.

"A32, Queen Street, Enniskillen - Road Closure
Location: From junction with the A32 Cornagrade Road To junction with the A4 Wellington Road
Description: Road closure required to facilitate for milling/resurfacing works.
Closure to operate: 12th January at 08:00am To 26th January at 17:00pm - Daily
Diversion to operate, delays expected.
Alternative route via: From Cornagrade Rd via Queen Elizabeth Street, Belmore St, Wellington Rd and vice versa from Henry Street. From A46 Loughshore Rd via Rosorry Church Rd, Windmill Drive, Coleshill Rd, Sligo Rd, Henry St & Wellington Rd."
