CREATIVE catalyst Ollie Lawrence gets another chance to shine as part of a strong Warriors line-up for tomorrow's do-or-die clash with Castres at Sixways (8pm).

Premiership regulars Duncan Weir, Perry Humphreys and Ashley Beck come in alongside arguably the most powerful pack director of rugby Alan Solomons could have selected for the European Challenge Cup Pool One decider.

Lawrence will partner in-form Wales international Beck, the first time the pair have started together in the centre since the victory over Stade Francais in Paris in this competition in October 2018. Ryan Mills misses out because of a bruised foot.

Lawrence joins Jamie Shillcock, Nick David, Ethan Waller and Marco Mama in retaining a place following the Enisei match, although Shillcock moves to full-back from fly-half.

Scotland international fly-half Weir and wing Humphreys return from injury with Cornell du Preez, recalled by Scotland for the Six Nations this week, is back at number eight.

South Africa centre Francois Venter is set to make his first appearance since November 30 as a replacement following his recovery from an ankle injury and GJ van Velze will make his 99th appearance if he comes off the bench.

PERMUTATIONS

With Dragons hosting Enisei, Worcester will probably be playing for one of the three best runners-up spots from the groups unless Castres register two bonus points.

Should Dragons do as expected, Warriors would need a bonus-point win to go through and if Warriors, Castres and Dragons all finish on 20 points, Warriors and Castres would progress by virtue of their record in the head-to-head meetings between the three clubs.

The picture would become more complicated if Warriors won without a try bonus point.

It would mean a 24-hour wait for the results of Scarlets’ trip to London Irish in Pool Two, Edinburgh’s home match against winless Agen in Pool Three and Pau’s home match against unbeaten Pool Five leaders Leicester Tigers to discover whether 19 points does the trick.
