An area of the Loughshore Road, Enniskillen will be closed between 9am to 5pm from today (January 27) as a £220,000 resurfacing scheme begins.

The carriageway resurfacing scheme will begin at the junction of the A46 Loughshore Road and the Ardees Road and will extend for a length of 1.5 kilometres towards Enniskillen.

Work was due to begin today, Monday, January 27 and is planned to be completed by Friday, February 7.

The scheme will require the road to be closed to through traffic from 9am to 5pm for the duration of the works. A two-way diversion will be signposted via Brollagh Road, Lattone Road, A4 Sligo Road to Enniskillen. Local access for residents and businesses will be facilitated as far as possible, although road users may experience some delays. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
