Two emergency ambulance crews and the air ambulance were dispatched to a road traffic accident on Friday afternoon.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service confirmed that they received a 999 call at 4:55 pm on Friday January 31 following reports of an accident at the Ballagh Road, Fivemiletown.

NIAS despatched two Emergency crews. The charity Air Ambulance with HEMS crew on board was also tasked to the incident.

Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to the South West Acute Hospital. The road was closed due to what was reported as a one vehicle accident.
