Around 3,000 homes across Fermanagh were affected by power cuts last night (February 10) due to the continued bad weather following Storm Ciara, Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) Networks have confirmed.
A spokeswoman for NIE Networks said: “Due to the continued bad weather following Storm Ciara, including strong winds and snow, approximately 3,000 customers in total were affected by power cuts last night in the Enniskillen and Irvinestown areas."
"Our teams worked through very difficult conditions to ensure power was restored as quickly as possible, with the majority of customers restored in less than one hour,” the spokeswoman concluded.
