Police are urging the public to "be alert" following reports of burglaries in the Cavan Border area of Fermanagh.
In a Facebook post on the PSNI Fermanagh Facebook page yesterday, February 19, a spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) stated: "Starting to get reports of a series of burglaries that have just taken place in the Cavan Border area. Please check on your vulnerable community members and be vigilant."
In the post the spokesman stated that reports indicate that a "red Toyota type vehicle" may be involved. The post was later updated to state: "Information now suggests that this may be a Red Mazda and could be travelling with a black VW style saloon vehicle."
"Please report any suspicious vehicles to 101," the PSNI spokesman concluded.
