Some staff of Enniskillen Integrated Primary School are in self-isolation for their own protection due to personal health concerns amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In a post to the primary school's Facebook page today (March 16), a spokeswoman stated: "The Department of Education have instructed us to stay open at the minute. If there are any changes I will text you all."
"We will have absent staff on Wednesday due to the need to self-isolate. If your child is unwell or your family needs to self-isolate please stay at home.
"Staff absence is due to their own personal health concerns and advice to stay away from children and others who may carry the virus.
"These staff do NOT have the virus - they are self- isolating for their own protection!"
The spokeswoman advised that swimming lessons and all after school activities have been postponed including Ju Jitsu, Core Kids and Tennis but that if the school is open, the After School Childcare provision remains open.
