A great night was had by all who attended the sold-out fashion show organised by Garvary Parish Church in aid of church funds.
Taking place in the church hall on Thursday, March 12, those in attendance enjoyed a stylish evening as models, including some parishioners, paraded fashionable garments provided by Klass Designs, a clothing boutique in Irvinestown.
Anne Rowley, one of the fashion show’s organisers, said: “It was a sell-out, all tickets were sold two weeks before the show. It was a most successful venture we’ve had for sometime.”
Compere for the evening was Sylvia Lucy and refreshments were provided on the night. There was also a draw, with prizes donated by some local businesses and parishioners.
Anne explained that the idea to host a fashion show originated from Reverend Betty Thompson.
“I’d like to thank those who provided prizes and those who lent various things for the evening. I want to give a special word of thanks to Lorraine of Klass Designs,” said Anne.
“The feedback on the evening was excellent. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed it,” she added.
