The GAA have today outlined their Safe Return to Gaelic Games Roadmap with the organisation aiming for club games to get underway on July 31 while inter-county teams will be able to resume training on September 14 with October 17 stated as the earliest date possible for inter-county competitions.

GAA pitches are scheduled to open on June 29 with training to recommence for adult and juvenile teams on the same day in small groups of no more than 10 and two coaches for non-contact training under social distancing guidelines.

Full team training can then resume on July 20 with a resumption of all club adult and juvenile competitions scheduled for July 31.

Adult club competitions involving county players are to take place from July 31 to Sunday October 11.

Inter-county training will resume from September 14 and inter-county games will take place no sooner than October 17.
