The Ardhowen Theatre are welcoming the talented members of Enniskillen Light Operatic (ELO) to the theatre’s Gallery Bar this week for Friday Night Live! as part of ‘Intermission’, the online, virtual and live in lockdown programme.

ELO will transport you to ‘A Night at the Musicals’ with songs from your favourite musicals. The performance will be live streamed from the venue at 9pm on Friday evening.

Ryan Moohan, ELO member and creative director of ‘A Night at the Musicals’ said: “We are revisiting some classic musicals and some modern contemporary musicals and bringing a sort of ‘songs from the show’ together.”

Ryan will be performing songs on the night alongside other ELO members Nadia Stenson and Jack Murray Francis. Eoin McCaffrey will accompany on keyboard.

On the night there will be songs from Grease, Oliver!, Dear Evan Hanson, Disney songs plus many more.

“This will be our first meeting of any sort of drama since the lockdown. We were meant to be doing our ‘Greatest Show’ and it was the week of the lockdown. We were meant to be performing on the Friday and lockdown came into place on the Tuesday so we just missed out on our show so this will be the first time we’ve had a chance to do anything since then,” said Ryan.

“We know we can’t do a big show at the minute so it’ll be just nice to make people a little bit happy for just an hour or so on a Friday night. Give them something a little bit different and share what we can in the middle of all this,” he added.
