Police are appealing for information as they investigate a collision on the Tummery Road in Dromore on Wednesday, June 10.
A telegraph pole was struck and knocked over by a passing lorry at around 2.30pm causing the road to be closed for some time. The lorry did not stop after the collision and proceeded towards Irvinestown.
Constable Keenan said: βIt is possible that the driver of the lorry is unaware that his vehicle struck the telegraph pole and I would ask any lorry driver that travelled from Dromore towards Irvinestown on the Tummery Road at around 2.30pm to contact police. I would also ask any witnesses who have not already spoken with police to contact officers in Omagh on 101 quoting reference number 864 10/06/20.β
