Charges relating to the alleged theft of multiple items during an incident earlier this year have been committed to crown court.

Appearing by video-link for a preliminary enquiry was Christopher Dunne (41) from Ballaghmore Heights, Enniskillen who did not object to the proceedings.

He is accused of stealing various items including computer equipment, mobile phones, a toolbox, tools and a high visibility vest on 11 February.

It is further alleged he assaulted a police officer and resisted arrest.

A lawyer appearing for the prosecution said there is a case to answer which was agreed by District Judge Steven Keown.

Dunne chose not to call witnesses or give evidence on his own behalf at this stage in proceedings.

Judge Keown ordered him to appear before Dungannon Crown Court for arraignment on October 15.
