POLICE have appealed for information after a spate of suspicious activity linked to poaching and rural crime.
Eden Police put out the call in efforts to "build up a bigger picture" of the activity across the county.
A spokesman for Cumbria Constabulary said: “Over the past weeks police have received information regarding suspicious vehicles, suspected to being linked to poaching and rural crime.
"This information has been followed up and helps to build up a bigger picture,thank you for this please continue to report anything suspicious.”
In late April three suspected poachers were apprehended in Croglin, Eden Valley,
Three men and a woman were tracked down by police after they abandoned their vehicle and made off on foot.
At the time a spokesman said: "Three males and one female had been using a vehicle which was left at the scene and they had gone on foot out of the area, they were located by police."
Anyone who sees anything suspicious call police on 101 to speak to the local Wildlife Crime Officer.
