AUCTION HOUSE CUMBRIA
Auction House Cumbria, a leading UK auction company, is providing a platform enabling buyers and sellers to continue to successfully buy and sell with the security of an immediate exchange of contracts.
The company has had FOUR live streamed online auctions since lockdown, April, June, July & September. 113 properties have sold with a value of £8.2 million and a sale rate of 94% of lots offered, 478 registered internet bidders, 218 telephone bidders and 36 proxy bidders. ‘We have been amazed at the uptake of real time internet bidding’
What to do if you want to sell your property online
If you want to sell your house, flat, land or commercial property, you can enter the lot for auction on the company's website. You're also entitled to a free property valuation from a member of the Auction House team.
Auctioneer and director Colin West said: "Auction House can provide the platform for buyers and sellers to complete an unconditional exchange of contracts. A legal pack is available for each property sale, allowing the buyer to complete their due diligence."
How you can get involved if you're looking to buy a home
Instead of holding its usual room auction’s at Carlisle Racecourse and Coronation Hall, Ulverston, Auction House will be streaming a series of web auctions during the ongoing restrictions. This will give attendees the chance to bid on properties safely from the comfort of their own home, staying in line with government social distancing measures.
All of the firm's web auctions are completely secure to enter, with only pre-registered members being allowed access. To bid, you can download an Auction House bidding form online.
Physical viewings are available with individual timed slots. We also provide potential buyers with floorplans and video walk-throughs, which allow them to see the interior of a lot virtually.
Why choose Auction House?
The Auction House team have a record-breaking reputation of success; selling over 3,000 properties each year in various regions across the country.
The company's Cumbrian team includes well respected and knowledgeable members of their field, meaning they can appraise your property professionally and accurately.
The Auction House sales figures have continued to grow year on year, achieving sales prices significantly higher than the guide prices.
"But even in this more challenging trading environment, we are still very much open for business. We are continuing to take new auction entries, marketing them and hammering lots down, with an immediate exchange of contracts."
The firm has two more scheduled auctions for this year on 29th October and 17th December. Listings will be open for up to three weeks before this date - for more information you can visit the Auction House website here.
