There have now been over 1,000 cases of Covid-19 recorded in Fermanagh and Omagh since the start of the pandemic. Today, there is a total of 1,013 cases of Covid-19 recorded in Fermanagh and Omagh since the current testing regime began. There were 32 new cases of Covid-19 in Fermanagh and Omagh reported in the last 24 hours by the Department of Health.

In the past week (October 13 - October 20) there have been 254 new cases and they have been broken down by the Department into the following age brackets.

Some 43  cases were in people aged 19 and under; 92 cases were between the ages of 20 and 39; 82 cases were in those aged between 40 and 59, 31  cases were between 60 and 79 and six cases were in those aged 80 and over.

There have been a total of 1,013  cases recorded in Fermanagh and Omagh since the pandemic began. There were 913 new cases across NI. The total number of positive cases in NI for the past seven days were 6,850 new cases. Three deaths were recorded in Northern Ireland meaning that 624 people have now died as a result of Covid-19. 14 of those who have died were recorded in Fermanagh and Omagh.

The seven-day incident rate for positives case per 100k people has fallen in Fermanagh and Omagh and is  now  217.7 per 100k people for the week (October 13 - 20). The incident rate for the previous seven days was cases 234.5 per 100k people.

There are currently 12 in-patients in the South West Acute Hospital. There are 70 in-patients across the Western Trust. There have been 65 admissions to the Trust  and 42 discharges in the past seven days. There are 286  in-patients in hospital across NI with the virus. Some 29 people are on Covid ICU beds across NI. There are 25 Covid-19 patients on ventilators across NI.

There are currently 84 confirmed nursing home outbreaks, with 10  suspected care home outbreaks across NI.
