Thirteen deaths related to Covid-19 have been reported by the Department of Health in the last 24 hours across Northern Ireland, bringing the total figure to 671.

None of the deaths were reported in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area which remains the least affected part of Northern Ireland with 16 deaths.

There were 27 new positive cases in the area in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases to 1,314.

The BT93 postcode area in the Fermanagh and Omagh area has a rate of 186.2 per 100k for the last seven days. Other postcodes in Fermanagh include BT74 which has a rate of 268 per 100k; BT92 is 273.4 per 100k while BT94 is 229.1 per 100k.

In the last seven days there have been 291 positive cases in the Council area. 57 of those were aged 19 and under; 93 aged between 20 and 39; 91 between the ages of 40 and 59; 42 aged between 60 and 79 and 8 aged 80 and over.

The seven-day incident rate for positives case per 100k people in Fermanagh and Omagh now stands at 249.1 per 100k people for the week of October 15-21 – the previous week’s rate stood at 235.4.

Across Northern Ireland there were 722 positive cases with the total number at 35,554. 6,493 of those were in the last seven days.

There are currently 10 Covid-19 in-patients in the SWAH. There are 77 in-patients across the Western Trust.

There have been 63 admissions to the Trust, and 69 discharges in the past seven days.

There are 360 in-patients in hospital across Northern Ireland with the virus. Some 38 people are on Covid ICU beds across Northern Ireland. There are 33 Covid-19 patients on ventilators across Northern Ireland.

There are currently 105 confirmed nursing home outbreaks, with 11 suspected care home outbreaks across NI.
