There has been one further Covid-19 related death in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area according to the latest update from the Department of Health on Wednesday, November 25 bringing the total figure to 27.

The total number of Covid-19 related deaths in Northern Ireland has risen to 954, with seven more deaths reported by the Department of Health in the last 24 hours.

Wednesday's daily update also reported 533 positive cases over the last 24 hour reporting period with 34 of those in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area. Overall, 50,676 people in Northern Ireland have tested positive for the virus. 2,067 have tested positive in Fermanagh and Omagh.

Breaking down positive cases by postcode in Fermanagh, from November 18 to 24, there were 11 cases in BT93; 33 cases in BT92; 19 positive cases in BT94; and 29 cases in BT74.

There have been 141 positive cases in the Council area. Some 26 of those were aged 19 and under; 47 were aged between 20 and 39; 38 were aged between 40 and 59; 15 were aged between 60 and 79, and 15 were aged 80 and over.

The seven-day incident rate for positive cases per 100k people in Fermanagh and Omagh now stands at 120.7 per 100k, for the week of November 18 to 24.

There are currently 76 in-patients across the Western Trust, while there have been 39 admissions and 41 discharges in the past seven days in Western Trust hospitals.

Across the five Trusts, there are 443 in-patients in hospital with the virus. Some 36 people are on Covid ICU beds across Northern Ireland, none are in the SWAH. There are 30 Covid-19 patients on ventilators across Northern Ireland.

There are currently 140 confirmed nursing home outbreaks, with no suspected care home outbreaks across Northern Ireland.
