A further 12 Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded by the Department of Health, bringing the total number of deaths in Northern Ireland to 974.

None of these deaths were recorded in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area, where 27 deaths have been reported.

Across Northern Ireland, 391 people tested positive for the virus, 22 of those in the local Council area. A total of 51,509 have tested positive in Northern Ireland, with 2,110 of these in Fermanagh and Omagh.

Breaking down positive cases by postcode in Fermanagh, from November 16-22, there were 11 cases in BT93; 33 cases in BT92; 19 positive cases in BT94; and 29 cases in BT74.

There have been 134 positive cases in the Council area in the last seven days compared to 191 in the previous week from November 13-19. Some 25 of those were aged 19 and under; 45 were aged between 20 and 39; 44 were aged between 40 and 59; 14 were aged between 60 and 79, and six were aged 80 and over.

The seven-day incident rate for positive cases per 100k people in Fermanagh and Omagh now stands at 114.7 per 100k, for the week of November 20-26 – the previous week’s rate stood at 163.5.

There are currently 72 in-patients across the Western Trust. While there have been 35 admissions and 36 discharges in the past seven days in Western Trust hospitals.

Across the five Trusts, there are 425 in-patients in hospital with the virus. Some 37 people are on Covid ICU beds across Northern Ireland, none of those are in the SWAH. There are 30 Covid-19 patients on ventilators across Northern Ireland.

Across Northern Ireland there have been 142 confirmed Covid outbreaks in care homes, with a further three suspected outbreaks.
