There were 11 further Covid-19 releated deaths recorded by the Department of Health, according to the daily update, with one of thses occurring in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.

A total of 1,026 people have now died due to the virus with 28 of those occurring in Fermanagh and Omagh, which remains the least affected Council area in Northern Ireland.

Eight of the deaths occurred within the last 24 hour reporting period and three outside of it.

35 people in the local Council area tested positive for the virus, bringing the total number of positive cases to 2,263. 456 people tested positive across Northern Ireland. The number of individuals who have tested positive across the country is 53,728.

Breaking down positive cases by postcode in Fermanagh, from November 23-29, there were 4 cases in BT93; 29 cases in BT92; 26 positive cases in BT94; and 30 cases in BT74. 

BT93 has the second lowest rate per 100k of population in Northern Ireland of 35.5 per 100k.

There have been 172 positive cases in the Council area in the last seven days compared to 140 in the previous week from November 19-25. Some 31 of those were aged 19 and under; 52 were aged between 20 and 39; 53 were aged between 40 and 59; 26 were aged between 60 and 79, and 10 were aged 80 and over.

The seven-day incident rate for positive cases per 100k people in Fermanagh and Omagh now stands at 147.2 per 100k, for the week of November 24-30 – the previous week’s rate stood at 119.8.

In Fermanagh and Omagh 400 people aged uner 19 years old have tested positive for the virus; 827 aged between 20-39; 683 between the ages of 40 and 59; 324 between 60 and 79 and 118 aged 80 and over.

There are currently 66 in-patients across the Western Trust, 18 of those are in the SWAH. While there have been 30 admissions and 42 discharges in the past seven days in Western Trust hospitals.

Across the five Trusts, there are 413 in-patients in hospital with the virus. Some 38 people are on Covid ICU beds across Northern Ireland, with one of these in the SWAH. There are 27 Covid-19 patients on ventilators across Northern Ireland.

The entire Health Trust is at 100 per cent of its bed occupancy capacity according to Thursday's update from the department with SWAH currently 10.65 per cent over capacity.

Across Northern Ireland there have been 119 confirmed Covid outbreaks in care homes, with no suspected outbreaks.
