Current Fermanagh U17 manager Maurice McLaughlin has been ratified as the new county U20 manager for the 2021 season.

The announcement by Fermanagh GAA comes after a meeting of their Management Committee on Wednesday night.

Ollie Fay stepped down from the U20 role following two seasons in charge which ended with defeat to Derry earleir in the year.

It is understood Donegal All-Ireland winner Mark McHugh, Garrison's Gerard O'Brien and former Fermanagh footballer and Belnaleck manager, Colm Bradley, who are currently part of his U17 setup which is preparing to face Down on Sunday, will be part of the management setup.

Fermanagh footballer Ryan Jones is also believed to be part of McLaughlin's team as strength and conditioning coach.
