Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of a single-vehicle road traffic collision on Kesh Road near Irvinestown on Thursday evening (January 7).
A report received at around 5.20pm outlined that a black BMW 320d car had been involved in a collision. A male was taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries, which are serious but not believed to be life-threatening.
Enquiries are continuing and officers would ask anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dash-cam footage, to contact them in Enniskillen at 101, quoting reference number 1308 – 07/01/21.
A Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service statement said: "One appliance each from Enniskillen, Omagh, Irvinestown and Dromore Fire Stations attended the incident.
"Firefighters were called to a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving two casualties. The driver of the vehicle had removed themselves from the vehicle before firefighters arrived.
"Firefighters rescued a passenger from the car using hydraulic cutting equipment. Both casualties were taken to hospital by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The incident was dealt with by 7.57pm."
