All other Council services and facilities will continue to operate as before from 8 January 2021, however this may be subject to change at short notice due to the fast-changing situation in relation to Covid-19 or operational requirements on Council critical services.
Appealing for people to follow the latest restrictions, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Diana Armstrong, said:

“The rise in Covid cases and associated hospitalisations is impacting on the ability of the health and social care system to deliver other core services. Our hospitals are under sustained and unprecedented pressures and I appeal to residents to follow the latest restrictions to protect themselves, their loved ones and the delivery of urgent medical care for those most seriously ill in our district.

I know it is hard as we have been through many months of restrictions. The vaccination process is currently being rolled out, however it will take time and patience. We are stronger together and by following the new restrictions to stay at home and only leave when necessary, we can each do our bit to ease the pressure on our health service, to stay safe and emerge from these difficult times.”
