Jones Memorial PS pupils and staff recently completed two weeks of walking and cycling to school during the national Big Pedal competition, run by the charity Sustrans. On the last day of the competition, pupils raised money to support the charity whose aim is to get more people moving for everyday journeys.
P6 pupils Brooklyn and Kara-Lily from Jones Memorial PS handed over a cheque for £145 to Sustrans Schools Officer Ann-Marie McManus, with teacher Gareth Barbour looking on.
