IT WAS the end of an era on Tuesday as two of Enniskillen’s best-known fashion retailers turned the key in their long-established business for the final time.

However, the Graham name will continue to trade on the High Street.

Bryan and Wendy Graham have announced their retirement from Graham Enniskillen, which was established in 1948 by the late Alex Graham.

Graham Enniskillen is being transferred to experienced fashion retailers Sam and Joanna Morrison, who are leasing the premises.

Among their other business interests, the Morrisons are the franchisees for Tommy Hilfiger in Northern Ireland.

Bryan Graham, who joined his father in the business more than 45 years ago, explained that he and his wife, Wendy, were delighted that Grahams would continue as one of Northern Ireland’s leading independent fashion retailers in Enniskillen with the same long-serving staff.

Speaking to The Impartial Reporter, Bryan said: “Our regular customers will see the same familiar faces offering the same excellent personal service, and the brand name, ‘Graham’, will remain above the door on the High Street.

“Sam and Joanna were very keen to take on the global designer labels with which Graham Enniskillen has become synonymous.

“For all these reasons, the transfer of the business will be completely seamless.

“Our 2021 autumn stock is arriving daily into the store, so customers can look forward to the shelves being replenished with new, exciting styles for the winter season.”

Company Director, Joanna Morrison, added: “We are delighted to have invested into Graham Enniskillen and its wonderful team of staff.

“We are very privileged and excited to have the opportunity to carry on the legacy of the Graham name, which has been a stalwart of Enniskillen fashion for more than 73 years.

“We wish Bryan and Wendy well for the future, and thank them for their help in enabling a smooth handover of the business.”
