PUPILS of St. John the Baptist PS in Roscor, Belleek, didn’t have far to go when the school decided to take a field trip to see how a local business works – they and their teacher just had to leave the school to find a brand-new enterprise right on the school’s doorstep.
The field trip didn’t have far to go at all, as KD Autoshine – a car wash that has just opened beside the school – welcomed the curious kids.
Apart from explaining about business and enterprise to the children with the field trip, the school was also happy to support a new neighbour – one that, coincidentally, has been set up by a former pupil of the school, Killian Deery.
Principal Miss McGarrigle and the pupils welcomed the new business, and gave Killian a card, balloons and a cake to wish him well.
