The PSNI have closed a road in Fermanagh this afternoon as the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) tackle an ongoing fire at a commerical premises.

It is believed that the incident occured at the Timoney Windows and Toughened Glass factory. 

In a statement, a PSNI spokesperson said: "Motorists are advised that the Tattygare Road, Tempo is closed due to a fire in the local area.

"Diversions are in place at the junctions with the Feddan Road and the Ballylucas Road. Please avoid the area and seek alternative routes for your journey."

 

The fire broke out at 1.55pm today at the Tattygare Road.

A NIFRS spokesperson said: “Firefighters are at the scene of a large fire at a commercial premises on the Tattygare road.

"Eight fire appliances are in attendance, one each from Enniskillen, Lisnaskea, Clogher, Armagh, Fintona, Irvinestown, Belleek and Omagh."
