The Strangest Things are happening at the Ardhowen this Halloween, including petrifying panto, creepy crafts and deadly comedy.

Isosceles Theatre Company are back with the FANGtastic family show Dracula The Panto on Friday, October 28 at 5pm. This hilarious spoof of the Dracula story done panto style, includes a bewildering series of costume changes with just two performers performing a Dame, a naughty Count, countless others and great songs too. Don’t miss this evening of first-class fun for everyone aged 8 - 80, and don't think you have to be a child to have a good time. Do come - the Master is expecting you...

Have some Halloween creepy crawly fun creating magical arts and crafts with local arts facilitator Julie Armstrong in the Spooky Spiders workshops on Saturday, October 29. The first workshop at 2pm is for 4 to 7 years and the second workshop at 3.30pm is for 8 to 12 years.

Star of the hugely popular CBeebies shows Andy’s Wild Adventures and Andy’s Safari Adventures, Andy Day comes the Ardhowen with his band The Odd Socks on Sunday, October 30 at 1pm. Like The Monkees or The Simpsons, the Odd Socks appeal to kids and adults alike. Singalong songs that kids adore, with a dash of oddball humour that parents love. Ticket holders can also book a Meet & Greet ticket via the box office.

Irish stand-up comedian Paddy McDonnell, from Belfast, is one of the fastest rising talents on the Northern Irish comedy circuit. Whether gigging on his home turf of West Belfast or taking his hilarious tales of everyday life around the country, Paddy has won over audiences with his uncompromising, insightful material. As he heads out across Northern Ireland ahead of his biggest show to date at Belfast's Waterfront Hall, Paddy stops off at the Ardhowen on Tuesday, November 1 at 8pm. The Tools 2: Tool Harder show promises all-new stories of his life working on a variety of sites and jobs and is one not to be missed. This event contains strong language and adult material, suitable for age 16+.

Don’t miss Gary Gamble’s hit comedy show, Sorry For Your Loss on Wednesday, November 2 at 8pm. Barbara and Alice plan to give Uncle Paddy the send-off he always wanted, if their sister Majella doesn’t get in the way! With more twists than a corkscrew, if it’s laughter you’re after, then this is the wake for you! This show contains strong language and adult references, suitable for audiences aged 18+.

All seats are sold for The Tumbling Paddies on Thursday, November 3 at 8pm. The talented and energetic six-piece band have taken the music scene by storm over the past four years. With their catchy original songs and distinctive take on well-known cover songs, they have created their own unique Trad/Pop sound and their gigs attract all ages from teens to 80+ years old.

Knocks Drama Group presents Loophole by John McManus on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5 at 8pm. The story of two miserable farmers, Paidi and Cass, who come up with a cunning plan to leave Paidi’s farm to Cass in his will. On the surface it seems they are best friends, but all is not as it appears. This performance contains some adult references and is suitable for 16+ years.
