The Fermanagh Choral Society will delight once again this festive season with their Christmas concert in St. Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen on Friday, December 9 at 8pm.
Under the baton of the director of music, David Robertson, the choir will be singing a collection of beautiful festive pieces.
The choir, totalling 50 voices from around the county, has been practising since early September for what is always the most popular performance of the calendar.
The choir’s chairperson this year is Helen Burton.
“We are delighted to be joined by Murley Silver Band for this performance. The Cathedral will look its absolute best since the refurbishment and the organ upgrade, so the atmosphere should be fabulous,” said Helen, adding: “One of our enthusiastic supporters said once that they felt Christmas only started after the Choral Society’s Christmas performance!”
No tickets are needed for this event; however, donations are great fully received in aid of the Cathedral organ fund and the society.
