The PTFA (Parent, Teachers and Friends Association) of St. Ronan’s Primary and Nursery School, Lisnaskea are welcoming Jolene Cox and her daughter, Lily, as they demonstrate some amazing and simple family-orientated recipes from her award-winning brand, One Yummy Mummy.

Taking place at St. Ronan’s Parish Hall, Lisnaskea on Saturday, February 11 from 2.30pm, the demonstration marks the first post-Covid event hosted by the PTFA .

A spokesperson for the association said: “The PTFA are on a mission to get back out in the community with fundraising events that will help towards the academic journey of the primary school children.

“Our first big event will be ‘One Yummy Mummy (& Lil’s)’. Jolene Cox is the lady behind this brand, and along with her daughter, Lily, she is on a mission to make home cooking simple and fun.”

Jolene has authored two cookbooks and has made several television appearances in the Republic of Ireland.

She will also be making an appearance on the Today Show, on the Monday following the PTFA event.

“Our PTFA works hard to make every event community-based, and we have been fortunate to have consistently had massive support from our local businesses.

“For this event, the PTFA, along with pupils from the school, will be making some of Jolene’s amazing recipes and bakes to showcase how simple and affordable – not forgetting fun – home cooking can be,” added the PTFA spokesperson, noting the association’s gratefulness to Swifts Eurospar, Lisnaskea, and Frazer’s Centra, Maguiresbridge who donated the ingredients to make the fabulous treats, while Dowlers, Lisnaskea are donating tea and coffee.

“We have also had some amazing prizes donated to raffle on the day,” the spokesperson added.

Tickets are available from St. Ronan’s Primary School between 9am and 3pm, Monday to Friday, and after 11am Mass in the Holy Cross on February 5.
