More than £4,300 was raised by St. Michael’s Parish, Enniskillen, for Friends of the Cancer Centre Fermanagh Fundraising Group following their annual Christmas Carol Service which was held on December 18, 2022, featuring special guest Lisa McHugh.

The event, which attracted an audience of over 800 was organised by Sharon Kelly, musical director of the parish vigil choir, with the assistance of Mary Keenan, Helena Palmer, Eoghan Corrigan and Jonathan Beatty.

On the night, Geraldine Corrigan, chairperson of the local Friends of the Cancer Centre Fundraising Group, commented on Sharon’s "talent, ability, and exceptional organisational skills", and thanked Lisa McHugh for her willingness to perform free of charge in a generous gesture to "the people of the town and county she now calls home".

The fundraising group is made up of volunteers of all ages and from across the community. They wish to thank Monsignor Peter O’Reilly and Father Raymond Donnelly for donating the proceeds of ticket sales to Friends of the Cancer Centre, and also thank all those who attended.
