With the new space, Gordons is aiming to make it “easier and more convenient” for customers to browse their range of health and beauty items.

“We’ve been hard at work to bring you loads of brand-new products, at prices you’ll love.

“In particular, we have added lots of products to the range of self-tan, skincare and make-up lines that we stock,” said the spokesperson, adding: “We’re constantly increasing the range of sustainable goods that we offer, and you can be sure that we’re still giving you exceptional savings when you shop with us.”

Highlighting that a total of £150k has been invested to create a “high-standard retail environment” for customers and staff, the Gordons spokesperson noted that all Enniskillen staff will be transferring to the new store “so the same familiar faces will be there to greet you”.

Maureen Symington, Pharmacy Manager at the store, said: “We have enjoyed serving our customers from our current location for the past 20 years, and are looking forward to welcoming them to our modern, new premises, in its central location.

“Looking after your ‘ health is our number-one concern, and we’re delighted that our new store gives us better space and facilities to do just that.

“We can make it easier than ever to get your medication to you, by collecting your prescription from your doctor’s surgery and having your medication ready and waiting for you to collect – when it suits you.”

She continued: “The Pharmacy First Scheme enables us to diagnose and prescribe treatment for a range of everyday health conditions, and we encourage you to think ‘Pharmacy First’ when it comes to your health concerns – if you have a concern about your health, you can speak with us in total confidence, and in many cases we will be able to save you having to visit or consult with your doctor.”

The Gordons spokesperson concluded: “At Gordons Chemists, we’re extremely proud of Maureen, Kathy, Paul and the entire team in Enniskillen.

“They have been a valued part of the town for many years, and we’re excited by this next chapter, and seeing how they can take serving the town to a whole new level.”
