After a four-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Sean McAloon Festival is returning to Roslea this Easter.

The festival hosted by Roslea Comhaltas, which has been running for more than 50 years, and will start on Easter Sunday, April 9, with the Sean McAloon Concert.

Starting at 7.30pm in Roslea Community Centre, it will feature a host of top-class artists including Bríd Harper, Fergus Bogue and friends, Pearse Larkin, Fergal McArdle, Meave O’Donnell and Katie Boyle.

The festival will continue throughout the week. On Tuesday, April 11 at Roslea Shamrocks Complex, there will be a youth Traditional music session with Martin Donohoe, from 6pm to 8pm.

At 9pm on Friday, April 14, Fior Ceili Music by Raymond Loney will take place at Roslea Community Centre.

The festival will come to a close with a singing and storytelling session at Derrygannon Hall on Saturday, April 15 at 8.30pm.
