St. Michael’s students who took part in the Concern fast along with Marie McKenna (Concern’s Fermanagh Support Group), Mr. Henry (Principal), Mrs. Carlin (teacher) and Isabel Brennan (Concern Worldwide).
Humanitarian aid organisation Concern Worldwide offered its thanks to students from St. Michael’s College, Enniskillen, and its wider school community for raising £6,200 in support of the charity’s East Africa appeal.
Students took part in a 24-hour sponsored food fast, while others skipped lunch to raise funds to help Concern support communities in Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya facing widespread food insecurity because of drought.
