There was great sadness in Church Hill and the wider Fermanagh community following the sudden passing of Nigel Corrigan, late of Church Hill, Derrygonnelly.

Mr. Corrigan died on Wednesday, April 5. He is survived by his partner, Stacey; his children, Eli and Wyatt; his parents, Roger and Gladys; as well as his siblings, Rodney, Jane and Christopher.

He will also be remembered by his colleagues from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. In a statement released on social media, a Council spokesperson said: “Our hearts today are with the family and friends of our valued colleague and friend, Nigel Corrigan, who passed away unexpectedly at his home last week.

“Nigel was a highly-skilled electrician who worked on many of our projects throughout Fermanagh and Omagh. He will be missed by us all, especially his colleagues in the Building Maintenance Team. May he rest in peace.”

Nigel’s funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon, April 12, at Church Hill Methodist Church, and he was buried at Inishmacsaint Parish Churchyard.

The funeral was arranged by Keith Elliott, W. T. Morrison Funeral Directors.
