The Western Health and Social Care Trust (Western Trust) has announced the appointment of Professor Ronan O’Hare to the role of Deputy Medical Director for the Western Trust.
A native of Fermanagh, Prof. O’Hare has been with the Western Trust for more than 12 years, both in his clinical and senior leadership roles.
He will continue to be based at the South West Acute and Omagh Hospitals, but will also have responsibility for the entire Western Trust area.
Prof. O’Hare had served as the Assistant Medical Director for the hospitals.
Congratulating Prof. O’Hare on his new appointment, the Western Trust’s Chief Executive, Neil Guckian, said: “I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Ronan on his new appointment.
“As Deputy Medical Director, he will provide strong professional leadership not just locally in the SWAH and Omagh hospitals, but also across the entire Trust.
“Ronan will support the development and delivery of first-class services across the Trust, ensuring our patients receive the highest standards of quality care.”
