It will be all aboard on Lough Erne next weekend as the annual Erne Boat Rally return.

The Erne Boat Rally commences on Friday, June 2 with a reception and dinner dance in the Seven Horse Shoes Hotel and continues over the weekend finishing with the prize giving ceremony and entertainment in Knockninny House, Derrylin on the banks of Lough Erne on Monday, June 5.

The rally committee who organise the event are selected from members of the Lough Erne and Belturbet branches. The commodores for the 2023 Rally are Padraig Leddy Commodore, Glen Latimer Vice-Commodore, and Damien Mundy Rear-Commodore

The role of commodore alternates between north and south branches each year.

A spokesperson for the Erne Boat Rally detailed some of the weekend's events, he said: "Over the weekend the rally will spend Saturday night in Drumrush Lodge Holliday Park

"On Sunday we will have the Commodores wine and cheese reception at Rossigh Moorings and later in the afternoon we sail across the broad lough to Belleek for an overnight stop.

"Monday afternoon sees the rally cruise for Knockninny House with a lunch stop at the Round O Jetties in Enniskillen and on to Knockninny House for prize giving and entertainment."
