One person was taken to hospital by ambulance following a road traffic collision involving two vehicles in the Sligo Road area of Enniskillen on Monday, May 29.

Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) attended the scene of the crash following a call on Monday evening.

A NIAS spokesperson said: "One ambulance and one rapid response paramedic were tasked to the incident.

"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to South West Acute Hospital (SWAH) by ambulance."

Police also attended the incident.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received and responded to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision at Derrylin Road, Enniskillen, shortly before 5.10pm on Monday, May 29.

"The male driver of one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries to his hand and attended hospital for medical assessment."
