Two men were arrested yesterday in Enniskillen following searches in three properties in Enniskillen.
The proactive operation was in relation to the discovery of an improvised explosive device in Co Louth on June 9.
Detective Chief Inspector Hamlin said: “Working in conjunction with colleagues in An Garda Síochána we carried out searches at three properties in the Enniskillen area earlier today.
“Two men, both aged in their 40s, have been arrested under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000 and remain in police custody at this time.
