A group of Fermanagh farmers and friends have returned from a study tour to Poland, one of the biggest of the eastern European countries which joined the EU in 2004.
The study tour, organised by the Ulster Farmers' Union in Fermanagh, visited Eko-Natura beef and sheep farm where calves are bought from other countries and sold on to Polish farms.
They also visited a monastery farm with 500 Holstein-type dairy cows. The 700-hectare farm cuts grass and alfalfa for feeding.
The UFU members also visited a poultry unit as well as visiting salt mines and the Auschwitz concentration camp.
