The nominees for the Fermanagh and Western League Players and Teams of the Year have been released. The announcement of the various winners will take place at the League’s Annual Awards Dinner which will be held at the Killyhevlin Hotel, Enniskillen on Friday May 23.

Both William Burleigh (Enniskillen Rangers) and Trevor Morrison (Killen Rangers) have been nominated for the Player of the Year for ther second year in a row while Brendan McElholm of league champions Strathroy Harps has also been nominated.

In Division Two, Fermanagh and Western Player of the Century, the evergreen Joe Keenan is among the nominees alongside Mark Jones (NFC Kesh) and Dylan Early (St. Patrick’s).

The nominees in Division Three include Scott Armstrong (Orchard Farm), Christopher Currie (Enniskillen Athletic), Tony Glenn (Orchard Farm) and Joseph Williamson (Magheraveely).

Mulhern Cup champions Enniskillen Town have five players nominated for the Division One Team of the Year with Strathroy Harps having four nominees.

All players are marked out of five by the opposition team after every game and the points are then added up with the top 20 nominated for the Team of the Year and the top three for Player of the Year.
