Enniskillen Santos 4 Irvinestown Wanderers 2

Two goals from in-form Seamus Quigley helped Enniskillen Santos to all three points against Irvinestown Wanderers on Tuesday evening.
Santos came into the game fresh from having put five goals past St Patrick's at the weekend and they were quickly among the goals again as they raced into a three nil lead after 25 minutes, which went a long way to deciding the outcome of the match.
Despite their recent good run, manager Joe Keenan admits it has come late in the season when they have little left to play for.
“We played well, in the first half especially,” he said.
“I’m happy with how we have been playing of late, but it’s just a bit too late maybe for the league.
"Quigley is playing well and he is a real handful up there, but you need your full team out every week which I haven’t had.
"We had it for the last two games though and we seem strong.”
Wanderers are not yet mathematically safe and need one more win to be sure of their place in the top flight next season, but with Dergview Reserves needing to win all five of their remaining matches, including two against Lisbellaw, Dermott McCann knows they can begin to make plans for another campaign in the top division, despite Tuesday’s defeat.
“Overall I was happy with the performance,” he said after the game.
“With the Gaelic starting we are missing a few players but we are still battling away. I didn’t think we deserved to be 3-1 down at half time, but we suffered from a few missed chances and some poor refereeing decisions.
"He made so many mistakes and I thought he was poor for both teams.
"We tried hard in the last few minutes to get in behind them but they held on well.”
The first decision that McCann felt aggrieved about came after five minutes when Joey Millar ran on to a Rory Cassidy through ball.
He was bundled off the ball as he lined up his shot, but the referee waved play on to the frustration of the away side.
Santos then opened the scoring through Quigley, with the striker controlling a pass from Paul Crane and firing past the keeper.
Wanderers had a great chance to level the match when the ball fell to Joey Millar inside the penalty area, but he hesitated and the keeper was able to block his shot.
Within minutes Santos had doubled their lead with Quigley again on target.
The striker this time turning in a cross from Sarto Quigley as Irvinestown waited for an offside decision which never came.
Two became three when a mazy run from Dunbar was ended with a foul inside the penalty area, with Christopher Keenan dispatching the penalty.
Wanderers did pull one back before half time from the spot from Gary Maguire with another disputed decision, and although Wanderers pressed hard in the second half to get back into the game, a long range free kick from Gary Stewart that flew over the keeper and into the top corner from a tight angle secured the win.
Rory Cassidy netted a consolation from the penalty spot after a foul on Joey Millar by Dunbar, but it was too little too late as Santos took the points.
