As part of Queen’s University Boat Races four crews from Enniskillen Royal Boat Club travelled to Belfast on Saturday to take part in the Ulster Schools’ Cup, J16 Craig Cup and WJ16 Kennedy Cup
The Boys’ 1st eight of Nathan Timoney, Jack Kennedy, Jack McDade, Peter Murphy, Odhran Donaghy, Robbie Mills, Matthew McBrien, Sam Balcombe and cox Rory Farragher won their final against RBAI easily.
Elsewhere the Girls’ 1st eight were narrowly beaten by Bann.
In the WJ16 Kennedy Cup, the girls Nikki Kernaghan, Caragh Leonard, Katie Corrigan, Abigail Ralph, Katie Donnelly, Martha McBrien, Enya Stewart, Rosie Pendry and cox Georgia Maxwell had a substantial win over Bann.
In the Craig Cup the J16 boys rowed well for a very young crew but unfortunately didn’t make it into the final. This was a great rowing experience for them.
