Fermanagh Premier 2 Deportes Iquique 0

Fermanagh Premiers returned home from the Super Cup with silverware after they defeated Deportes Iquique from Chile in the Salver final today.

Victory over Otago in Thursday's semi-final sent Scott Robinson's side through to the decider against the South American's.

Fermanagh had enjoyed the better of the first half exchanges but were unable to make the breakthrough as it remained scoreless at the interval.

However, with 43 minutes on the clock they took the lead as Conor Love's low driven free kick beat the goalkeeper at the near post.

And five minutes later they doubled their advantage with Conor Courtney tucking home after Josh Largo Elis had his initial shot saved.

From this, they were able to see the game out to become only the second Fermanagh team to bring silverware home from the Super Cup.
