St. Michael’s have four players attending today’s (Thursday) first Ulster Schools’ All Star trials in Cookstown.

Goalkeeper Sean McNally, defender Luke Flanagan, captain and midfielder Brandon Horan as well as corner forward Conor Love will all take part in the opening trial and coach Dom Corrigan is in no doubt that they have earned their opportunity.

“All four of the lads had very solid performances in the group stage of the competition and came through the campaign strongly.

“They have been very committed, they have worked very hard and I’m delighted to see them given this opportunity.

“Hopefully they will go out and perform and if they do then I’ve no doubt that they will make it back to the second trial,” he said.

The second trial will take place in Belfast next Wednesday night.
