Fermanagh have been handed a tough test in the opening round of the All Ireland Qualifiers with an away game against neighbours Monaghan.

Rory Gallagher's side made their exit from the Ulster Championship yesterday with a six point defeat to Donegal in Brewster Park but they must now dust themselves down for the clash with Malachy O'Rourke's Farney who lost to Cavan in Ulster.

Fermanagh did enjoy victory over Monaghan in last year's Ulster semi-final when Eoin Donnelly's late goal sealed the win to send them into the final.

The game is to be played over the weekend of June 8/9.
