The Fermanagh and Western season got underway on Saturday andthere was wins for holders Tummery Athletic,Enniskillen Rangers, Enniskillen Town, NFC Kesh and Enniskillen Athletic while Irvinestown and Beragh played out a draw in Division One.
Tummery opened their defence of the title with a 4-0 win away to Killen Rangers with Emmet McNabb and Aidy McCaffrey netting two apiece for the Dromore side.
Goals in the opening quarter by Christopher Currie and Stuart Rainey clinched the points for Rangers at the Ball Range against Dergview Reserves while Frank Wallace fired home a hat-trick for Enniskillen Town as they recorded a 3-1 win away to Lisbellaw.
NFC Kesh made a great start to the campaign with a 6-0 victory over Strathroy Harps. Goals from Jordan Cadden (2), Lee Walker and Mark Jones had them four goals to the good at the break before Jack Kerr bagged a second half brace to wrap up a convincing win.
There was also a fine win for Enniskillen Athletic on their Division One debut as goals from Ryan Finch, Darrin Simpson, Callum Frempong and Gavin Green saw them secure a 4-1 victory away to Magheraveely.
In the day's other game in the Mercer League, Duwayne Carleton and Gary Maguire scored for Irvinestown in their 2-2 draw with Beragh, Stevie Browne on target for the away side.
