Fermanagh GAA Chairman, Greg Kelly says that the county have officially lodged a request to have this Sunday's NFL Division Two game against Clare postponed on the grounds of player welfare.
Fermanagh were hit by a Covid-19 outbreak last week that saw ten players test positive while another seven have been forced to self isolate having been in close contact. The county's request will be heard by CCC tonight.
"We have requested that the Clare game is postponed on the grounds of player welfare," confirmed Kelly.
"We had ten players test postive for Covid-19 and another seven have had to self isolate to that is 17 players that we have been down.
"We will review things once we have a decision on the request," he said.
