Enniskillen Rangers celebrate after winning the Junior Cup in 2019.
The Irish FA have confirmed this evening (Wednesday) they they have cancelled both the fonaCABJunior Cup and the Harry Cavan Youth Cup for this season.
The decision was taken by the Irish Football Association’s Junior and Youth Cup Committee which met to consider the current health situation in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic and the extended lockdown due to end on 5 March 2021.
The Committee recognised the difficulties faced by clubs and leagues during this period and both competitions were cancelled with immediate effect.
The entry fee for both competitions will be refunded to all clubs.
